In 2008, The American Biographical Institute honored Sir Tyrone by the establishment of a Foundation called "THE DR. SIR TYRONE ARRINDALE WATKINS AWARD FOUNDATION", the purpose of which is to commend and salute individuals who have made unprecedented contributions to the profession of Finance, Financial Management and Accounting. This Foundation is a Chapter of The American Biographical Institute.
